Never Going Back...I swear

Anime Fest was horrible. For some reason, even though Mel and James got dealer badges, we got member badges. This caused every overzealous volunteer to stop us going in and out of the dealer's room all bloody weekend long. A four day con is just way too much, especially when the dealer room closed up too early to make enough money for the exhaustion to be worth while. Sigh...
And all of this was because they lost our check and couldn't even attempt to be the bigger man and admit they could possibly be to blame until the mia check in question popped up in a drawer somewhere. I got real tired of the 'it might be your fault so we can't help you' song and dance REAL quick. :P
All in all, this con was poorly handled, poorly populated, and a very poor outcome. I Really don't see us going back next year.

Three Comics in One Week?

This is madness!!!
...No, this is ABSURD! ... >.> <.< Ok, now that I have THAT out of the way, here's the deal. Little silly things come to me when I already have a huge backlog of comics. I thought they might be good filler and so, mon, wed, and fri comics are born. This probably wont be EVERY mon, wed, and fri; just most of them. So on the off days check to see if I've posted an Absurd sketch. The off day comics wont be the big pretty finished ones you expect from Absurd, more like what showed up today.
In other news...I hate buttons. I cut a nasty divot into my left ring finger with the button maker so Thursday's comic might not be done by me... Tuesay was already done, thankfully.
Lastly, I'll be at Mechacon in Lafayette this weekend selling all the usual swag plus, hopefully free comic samples. See you there!
